Aptos Labs Launches Aptos Connect: Revolutionary Web3 Onboarding Tool
Aptos Labs has announced the launch of its new project Aptos Connect, a solution that aims to simplify and allow people to start using blockchain-based platforms more easily. The new project can be accessed through web browsers and works smoothly on different devices. It has also been designed as a web-based digital wallet that gives users total control of their private keys.

Simplifying Web3 Access with Aptos Connect
According to the Aptos team, the new solution has a keyless feature. Instead of requiring users to remember long password key codes, the Aptos Connect can enable participants to access their wallets via other means. More so, the developers further promised secured access, ensuring that users have a safe environment. They said:

Keyless and Secure account Creation
This technology is developed in a way that connects users’ existing social accounts, like a Google account, to their blockchain accounts. It does this through zero-knowledge proofs. Thus, solving the usual challenges of using blockchain technology, like managing seed phrases and private keys.
Since Aptos Connect can only be logged in via a social account, users should use an account they do not share with another person and ensure they use two-factor authentication to create an extra layer of security.
Aptos Connect has, therefore, made creating an Aptos blockchain account easy. Users can simply click the account creation button using familiar Web 2 logins. Thus, interested participants do not need to go to a different website or download any special apps or extensions.
More so, potential users do not need to have or receive any digital asset before creating an Aptos Connect account, they also don’t need to connect to a decentralized application. The team behind the project revealed that some actions users intend to carry out within the app may require them to use the Aptos network native token, this could also be based on the decentralized app.
An addition to the Aptos Connect keyless account is that individuals can also link their private key wallet, such as Petra or Pontem, to their Aptos Connect. They stated:
“In addition to your Keyless account, you can also connect your mobile private key wallet like Petra or Pontem to Aptos Connect. You can then sign transactions on your mobile phone while using desktop apps in the Aptos ecosystem. To do this, simply click on “Other Accounts” and then “Add Wallet” to connect your mobile wallet.”
Aptos Connect is making the complex nature of blockchain technology seamless as users do not need to worry about keeping their private key or ‘seed phrase’ safe and secure, which makes web3 much more usable for regular people.
