The Latest NFT Buzz: Paris Hilton, Tom Brady, And McDonald’s In The Mix

Non-fungible tokens or NFTs are still making news, and it doesn’t look like the hot topic will die down soon. The surge of interest has produced some astronomical sales and attracted interest from celebrities. 

The future of NFTs remains uncertain as the world stands divided in its opinion about NFTs. However, it’s still what everyone is talking or thinking about. 

Paris Hilton Says Be Excited About NFTs

In a recent article on her website, Paris Hilton shared a write-up about why she believes in NFTs. Hilton says that she sees NFTs as a way to innovate, empower, and push the boundaries of how artists interact with their fans. She looks at them as the future of the creator economy. 

Creators can use blockchain technology to help increase the value of their work and share it with fans in real-time. Blockchain will also help creators get the revenue out of secondary sales, an appealing factor that isn’t possible in traditional art sales. 

Hilton plans to go big with NFTs and will soon release her first drop. She has released a Q&A on YouTube too. Hilton aims to innovate, invest, and collect NFTs. 

Tom Brady Is Launching An NFT Platform

Seven-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady, is joining the NFT party. Brady will be releasing an NFT platform called Autograph this spring. Some of the biggest names in sports, entertainment, fashion, and pop culture will be collaborating with creators to develop digital collectibles. The platform will produce NFT’s featuring Brady as well. 

Entrepreneur Richard Rosenblatt and Brady will serve as co-chairs of Autograph. The company has assembled an advisory team consisting of high-profile members such as Apple SVP Eddy Cue, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer, Live Nation Entertainment CEO Michael Rapino, DraftKings cofounders Jason Robins and Paul Liberman, and Dawn Ostroff, chief content and advertising business Officer at Spotify.

Rosenblatt shared the vision of the company in a statement, saying,

“Autograph will bring together some of the world’s most iconic names and brands with best in class digital artists to ideate, create and launch NFTs and ground-breaking experiences to a community of fans and collectors.”

McDonald’s France Joins The NFT Rollercoaster

McDonald’s France announced the release of the NFTs on Instagram and Twitter earlier this week. The four NFTs represent the fast-food chain’s most iconic dishes – a box of Chicken McNuggets, the famous Big Mac, sundae, and fries. The winners will be free to whatever they want with their NFTs.

McDonald’s isn’t selling the artworks but instead offers them as prizes in a social media contest. McDonald’s France will hold a competition among its social media followers: from April 9th to April 13th for the McNuggets And Big Mac, and from April 14th to April 18th for the sundae and fries.
