The government of the United Kingdom wants law enforcement officials to be able to easily seize crypto used to support terrorism.

The Home Office Department, which is in charge of immigration and crime, want to mirror anticipated revisions to the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency bill – which would make it simpler for agencies to seize crypto engaged in crime in the UK – Terrorism Act 2000 and the Anti-Terrorism Crime and Security Act 2001.

This is to provide law enforcement agencies with the power to forfeit, freeze and seize cryptocurrencies that might be involved in terrorism reported by a spokesperson from Home Office.
