Germany’s DZ Bank has unveiled a blockchain-based digital custody platform to allow institutional clients to invest in cryptocurrencies. The third-largest bank in the country is also developing the service for individual customers. In addition to the platform, DZ Bank intends to offer a range of direct investment products in cryptocurrencies. With €300bn ($327bn) in assets under management, the bank aims to tap into growing demand among institutional investors for digital asset services.
