Starting July 12, 2023, Etoro, an Israel-based trading and investment firm, has announced that American customers will be prohibited from trading four cryptocurrencies: Algorand (ALGO), Decentraland (MANA), Dash (DASH), and Polygon (MATIC), effective from Wednesday, 6 AM (ET). The firm claims to have developed a mechanism for its staff to evaluate crypto assets in response to the constantly changing legal landscape. Etoro’s decision follows Robinhood’s delisting of Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL), and Polygon (MATIC), which was prompted by the SEC lawsuit against Binance and Coinbase.
