St. Galler Kantonalbank, one of Switzerland’s largest cantonal banks, has teamed up with SEBA Bank to offer digital asset custody and brokerage services for select clients. The bank will start by offering trading and custody services for bitcoin and ether, with plans to expand its offerings to other cryptocurrencies based on client demand. The partnership will help SGKB clients integrate cryptocurrencies into their existing investment portfolios. SEBA Bank, which holds a banking license from Switzerland’s FINMA regulator, provides digital asset services for other banking institutions, including private and retail banks like LGT Bank Liechtenstein and Julius Baer Bank.
